Prepare for your Massage & What to expect during your session

What to wear:

Most commonly people are completely unclothed while on the massage table. You will be covered tightly and securely with a sheet and heavy blanket throughout your session to maintain privacy and warmth.

Sarga Bodywork is characterized by long, slow, high-contact strokes that affect a large area of tissue at once. These long strokes connect the upper and lower parts of the body through detailed glute-work along the posterior chain (back of the body).

Wishes to wear undergarments will always be respected, however, it’s important to understand that clothing interrupts these connecting strokes.

How to arrive
Preparing yourself for an amazing massage starts before you get on the table.

To achieve the slow, tack-and-drag effect necessary for myofascial bodywork, I will apply a special blend of organic coconut oil & beeswax to the skin.

Coming to your appointment from a warm shower not only helps to physically prepare your body and mind for your massage, but also cleanses the body of any oils, sweat, or excessive lotions that might interfere with your treatment's massage techniques.
*Clean hygiene is required for all bodywork

We will move a lot of blood & lymphatic fluid during your sessions. For this reason, it is important to be hydrated well before your session and to arrive neither too hungry nor too full.
